Blessed Are The Peacemakers!

“Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.” Psalms 4:8
What is the determination of self-worth? It is not the color of one’s skin that determines their worth. It is the goodness of one’s nature toward others that determines their self-worth. It’s their encouragement, and moral support to others in times of difficulty. It’s their giving and caring nature as they help others to pick them up when they are down.
People of every nation, and of every color should be given the human dignity, respect and attention to be accepted according to how they behave with others. A meaningful life is one that delivers good attitudes and actions, that goodwill toward others will benefit all who encounter a trustworthy person.
Trustworthy people are those who are always dependable to give their best to others. Consideration of other’s feelings are part of their consistent giving nature, and being helpful to all people.
Kindness given to people regardless of their differences gives them the dignity of being treated with respect when they are being respectful. It must be mutual to be a worthwhile social encounter. It can never be one-sided to be up-lifting in social value.
Yes, behavior is a major part of having a civilized social engagement.
Peace can never become a peaceful coexistence if everyone who is part of a peaceful process doesn’t know how to be peaceable. Peace and equality must be part of one’s moral standards shown in their own thinking and actions to be meaningful for their own life, and the lives they affect.
Peacemaking is a Jesus Christ-like influence, calming the “storms of life”.
It is the truth of God, that determines the depth of spiritual understanding, and the trustworthiness of each person according to their own individuality. It is the individuality that can be better attained when people don’t have to defend just being themselves.
When the individuality of a believer can be influenced, manipulated, or destroyed by an individual or dominate group, they are damaged in some way in their life. It will take sound profound truth to disentangle people from the lingering “bad results” of transgressing God’s and man’s laws. All one’s problems begins and are compounded when you trust the untrustworthy.
Peace is found in the peaceful principles that is brought into our heart and mind through the absolute truth of Jesus Christ found in the Holy Bible. Jesus was born that all that believed in Him could find peace when they lived a good life, filled with love for others and lived life filled with the mercy and compassionate heart-felt love of God. Peace can only come from those who live daily in a peaceful way and care for others more than themselves.
We find peace when we serve Jesus Christ who was born to bring peace, and good will to humanity.

                                                           An Everlasting Difference

Knowing more about Jesus Christ can make an everlasting difference in your life!
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with loving kindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3
How do you make an everlasting difference in your life? You live a worthwhile life that gives meaning to your life, and touches those around you.
It sometimes takes a great spiritual awakening for people to be revived to be restored in faith in Jesus Christ, and confidence in oneself.
Faith, real strong faith in Jesus Christ, takes you out of the deep dark well of self, and selfishness, to become a more delightful giving person, because you have a different demeanor and outlook on life.
Most people go through life thinking I can’t make a real difference in my life. Who am I? How can I do something significant enough to help people I encounter daily?
I remember an incident that happened many years ago. It lingers in my mind as a time that made me see how easily it can become for anyone can make a difference.
We had taken my mother to see her doctor, the waiting room was full. Chairs lined the walls of the waiting room, the room was quite only gentle rustling noises were heard. There were about 20 people sitting in various moods, some were obviously in pain, others had the eyes shut, or were flipping the pages of well read magazines.
A young woman rushed in like the swift rush of cool air that whooshed through the door with her, she held her daughter in her arms. Mother and child were smiling as she sat her down on the floor with a grin, and the child waddle off to approach the first old woman, she saw. The mother went to the desk to sign in as the child smile up at the woman grabbed her hands to get her to play patty-cake. The old woman smiled and began to play with the child.
As the mother came back she began to talk to both people who sat on either side of her, a great smile on a homely face. I had unkindly thought as she came into the room that she looked homely.
The babe began to playfully engage the people with her joyous way, her mother kept her bright conversation going with different people in the room. She showed her warm loving way with the contented child. As I looked around the room, I saw people smiling and visiting with one another. The room had come alive with the lively loving mother and daughter. I glance back at the mother and saw a sparkle in her eyes as she talked with the old man beside her, heard her gently laughter, and I thought she looks so much more beautiful than I had first observed.
I saw a lifeless room full of worried, weary people come alive, and a young woman show her true inner beauty that made a difference to everyone with her lively caring presence.

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”   2 Timothy 3:15

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17      By Joan Jessalyn Cox~ Read more in my books
